Well it's my birthday on thursday and my mum wants to buy me something I can unwrap instead of just money. I will be turning 15 and there is no games out before my birthday, so have you got any suggestions on little gadgets that I could suggest to my mum?

What do you want for your next birthday or if it was recent what did you get?

Oh uhm... A new console maybe?

Or a new outfit of clothes? Socks are always handy.

A new pair of shoes! :D

I got £400 off my 'rents for my birthday just gone. Wasn't happy cos I'd prefer to have had something to unwrap. I'm glad my dad didn't get me a laptop though cos I've found one I want now :D But off my friends I got the Escapist imp plushie, Venus Fly Trap, a bonsai, bubbles and animal shaped balloons :D My boyfriend also painted a picture of me, got me some chocolate and flowers and I think he's gonna get me something when he has the money.

Also a bottle of Cava off a family friend that I have yet to open...

I would want a PS3, but my parents DESPISE all non-family consoles as violence will turn me into a horrible brain-munching zombie, and they don't think I'm worth £300.

Actually, they don't even give me £30 presents.

This depresses me :(
*hug*

My mum says that I don't need another console:/ Eh bribe your family with littlebigplanet they might see it worth a £300 console.

My birthday just went past and my mum got me these cordial mixes you can get in Starbucks:

If you get some of the more colourful ones they look really good in a kitchen and are awesome in just about anything plus you can go crazy with trying different things with each like cocktails or mocktails (non-alcoholic) and just water if you got nothing else :p

Happy birthday for Thursday! It was my birthday yesterday and I kinda got one big gadget in a Guitar Hero drum kit. That's not exactly little though.

Last real "gadget" gadget I got was a plasma ball. Completely pointless but pretty and good for giving people electric shocks.

Probably I plan to ask for the final Absolute Sandman:

Look [http://www.forbiddenplanet.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_music_info&products_id=46100] at it. Exquisite.

I dont do the whole party and present thing for my birthday, havnt since i was 14 i think. just doesnt do it for me. Dont get me wrong i do go all out for other peoples, just not my own and my family and friends have given up pestering me about it. So now what i do to just mark the day, is do something that i havnt done before, something triumphant like climp a mountain or a cliff, go surfing somewhere new, do a marathon. this year i did gael force west and smoked a cigar at the summit of The Duff. no better present to yourself.

Maybe some DVD's you've been wanting? Or if not that perhaps a Visa Gift Card. Just like cash, but you can unwrap it.

Clothes, purses, merchandise of a game or anime or something, a trip to somewhere, nice smelling stuff, anything else you can think of.

Aftershaves perhaps? I love lynx, I wear it.
It's my boyfriends birthday soon but I'm not sure if I'll have money by then.
If I do, I'm getting him converse, the Batman game, an American football shirt, sponsorship and anything else he wants.

I'm at the point in my life where I asked for a vacuum cleaner and wool socks for Christmas. I guess ask for movies you want. That's what I usually do since they're easy to find and fairly cheap.

Money... perfect gift. Some say it is not thoughtful or appropriate or such. Of course sometimes "the thought" counts more than the value, but you are gifting the ability to buy EXACTLY what someone want, when he wants... so yeah, money is great.

Happy birthday. Mine is coming up soon, too.
Instead of getting something to unwrap, how about go somewhere? Maybe you can go out for a steak dinner, see a movie with your friends, go paint balling, that sort of thing. That and some old games. Those are fun to have when you want something (somewhat) old school.
That's the best I can come up with.
