Hello, 'Gents and ladies!

So, we all have that day that comes around once a year...My question is what are you planning for you next birthday? And/Or, what is the best/worse birthday you've ever had?

To hit the ground running, the worst birthday has to be when I was 10, 11, or 12 (Can't remember exactly.) and a massive thunderstorm/Rainstorm hit, forcing everyone inside. Everyone called it a bad omen for the next year.

I don't really do much for my birthday. I used to have a few friends over for a sleep over when I was young but now I generally just see my gf and it is just another day for the most part.

Well, mine is one week away...

Not sure what (if any) the plans are yet. I'll probably just go to my usual School of Instruction, after having gone out to dinner with my mother the night before and my father the night after.

My birthday was Wednesday last week.

As for my worst birthday. I think that was when I was around 20 or 21, and I got a fucking horrible skin infection that same day. My scalp was all scabbed over and infected. I couldn't even put my head down on a pillow to sleep, because the pressure would make my scalp ooze like crazy. Yes, it was as terrible and disgusting as it sounds, and it lasted a whole damn week. That's a whole week of buring pain and agony, and insomnia.

I'll be turning 35 on the 14th of December. The plan is to just invite 'everyone' over for drinks and cake. Or, since it's on a friday we might just go out to the local pub.

No idea what my worst birthday would have been, maybe last year when I was sick and didn't really do anything.

Nothing, my birthday has always been plain and mudane (nothing happen on that day, just birthday birthday cards and present from my family, heck I no logner get a birthday cake!). For once I would love something to happen on my birthday like a party or something exciting on that day.

Me and my mates usually go get pissed but I am quite keen on bungie jumping with my mates this year! Anyone think it would be worth it?

I turned 30 a couple of months ago and my lady gave me a surprise bungee jump for the event. Definitely worth it, easily the scariest thing I've done and loads of fun!

Yeah that was one of my more memorable birthdays. Worst? I 'unno, don't remember anything particularly bad. I can remember a Christmas "abandoned" at home while my parents went off to South Africa on holiday. I had food poisoning for company. That kinda sucked.

Actually I just had my birthday about 10 days ago. ^_^ I turned 25. I spent it playing video games, watching Dark Shadows the movie, and having a delicious peppered steak...yumm......wish I had more...It wasn't the best birthday I've ever had, but far from the worst. Mostly just meh.

Anyways, I have no idea what I'll be doing for next one cause it's a year away. The worst birthday I ever had...that would be my sixteenth birthday which involved a my stepfather and a gun, but I won't get into the gory details, I'm pretty sure I've mentioned them around the forums before anyways.

I usually get a bit excited onnthe day of my birthday because it makes me feel somewhat special, then I spend the entire day thinking of something to do and failing.

I haven't had a party in many years, and I often do nothing with my birthday.

My best birthday was my 21st. I went bowling with my (then) two greatest friends. Then we went home and watched two movies. And none of us had any booze.

...that was nearly eight years ago... oh dammit, I'm depressed now.

Btw, my Birthday is two days after Christmas. You think I got two present days a year? Thpppt. The worst was when we had no party, my father was in a bad mood, and I got a card and a 12-pack of recordable cassette tapes. Getting nothing at all is preferable to getting a 12-pack of blank cassette tapes.

Finally, I come to the end of my pity post. I'm not planning anything for my birthday. I never plan anything for my birthday. There always seem to be random weekends for any given year that are better than the birthday for that year.

I was due to be born on november the fith. I wasn't, but I still think it's a cool coincedence.
Anyway, I'm 18 next birthday, and my Dad asked me if he could buy me my first Legal pub-pint, and I wasn't exactly going to say no, FREE ALCOHOL. And then after that, I imagine I'm just going to get very drunk. My birthday's going to be on a monday, but meh, you're only 18 once.
