Biscuits and a brew, is there anything more British then that. Give me a nice cuppa with some shortbread fingers, ginger nuts or (on a special day) the odd Jaffa Cake and all will be right with the world.

Although I do feel I need to make a confession, I don't like digestives or custard creams or bourbons. And if I want to dip my shortbread or ginger nuts, I have to make a second brew especially for dipping, I don't like to drink tea that has had biscuits dunked in.

So you don't drink the tea you used for dipping?

Damn this thread. Right now I have no jaffa cakes in house or any biscuits for that matter. Those 36 packs just don't go far enough, someone at McVites really should get working on a 100 jaffa cake pack.

Oh man, that reminds of these huge tubes of Jaffa Cakes they did a few years back...

I think it was somewhere around 50 or 60 cakes in one pack.

Well if it makes any difference I just finished a cup of tea and a plate of Digestives but I feel like I should punish myself for failing to notice the Bourbons for failing to notice Bourbons is indeed a punishable offence. Hence the cookies.
