Honouring your parents IS one of the ten commandments. Screaming at your parents over a 20 dollar game when they're buying you a damn 400 dollars or so already is -not- honouring them. It's a damn shame.
Seriously tho. I'm not Christian myself, but if you start going "I'mmo be an atheist to show them" then... well... that's just dumb.
And so is the suggestion you should do that. Atheist have enough methods to 'convert' others that are fine and noble. 'So you can rebel against your mean parents' is not one of them.
It's -clearly- a case where the parents don't want to buy a child an M-rated game, and are having trouble saying no to the child, because said child seems to react poorly to such things. It sucks for the kid, but hey, it sucks for parents to have to deal with this crap so it's a wash. There's no 'moral high ground' here, so stop fooling yourselves into thinking there is.
