I found out recently that I was not the only person who enjoyed Black and White. I'm not sure how people are going to react to this proposal, but what if they made Black and White 3? Would you be excited? What would you hope was in it? Alternatively how do you feel about Black and White in general?

I've never played the games before, but they certainly look fun from what I've seen.

Fun fact: Today I wrote down the lyrics to the Sailer Song from B&W 1. I'll be memorizing them soon.

Oooooh, we've got this notion
That we'd quite like to sail the ocean
So we're building a big boat to leave here for good.
We're not keen on sinkin'
So we're all sittin' here a-thinkin'
'Cos we built it too big and we've run out of wood...

The game needs more Avatars. I want my god-creature to be a seven-inch tall Psychic Lizard.

Black and White, and then Creature Isle were near perfect in my opinion. Black and White II...not so much. Something was lost in the translation in the 2nd one. Something definitely just didn't feel right. Black and White III would have to step up its game if I were to ever consider buying it, thats for sure.

What if Black and White 3 had even more creatures then black and white: CI?

That was one of the things that seriously saddened me when I played Black and White 2.

Eh...I think I was more dissapointed with the Influence and being "Good" in the second one then anything really. It was nearly impossible to get people to migrate to your town through the good path in both games, but more excusable in the first one. In the second one, you'd think they'd improve upon that aspect of the game. Instead, Peter was too busy trying to map every single command to the mouse to make you feel like a "God".

Although, I would love to play as a Turtle again.

You have a point it's been kinda hard to have a good system for being a good god.

In all honesty...they aren't anything you need to run out and play. Especially not in this day and age. However, there really isn't any other games quite like them. Its a tough call.

It just felt...awkward playing Black and White II. The game obviously wanted me to be some malevolent God, but I wanted to be a benevolent one. It sucked, because in the end, my pet(Cow) ended up turning evil, and the Evil cow looks retarded. I had to have him do my dirty work in order to get people to believe in me. In the end, I got to about level 3 or so in the 2nd one and called it. Its a shame really, I would've enjoyed it had it not been for the terrible Good/Evil system they had.

I was first introduced to the game Black and White by my brother who said it was really awesome. So I decided to sit down for a bit, install it, and see what all the fuss was about.

It took me a second to get to the actual combat and to get my creature controlling down to a science but when I finally got to it I had quite a bit of fun playing the game. Whenever I play a game and it gives me the ability to be the holy almighty reincarnation of Jesus, or the ball kicking, child eating, house burning A-hole. I always go with the second choice, but to be honest, when a game gives you a choice, you cant help but have a little fun.

I enjoyed the game play quite a bit, the fun of drawing the spells that you get to cast at your enemies or to help your creature was a nice change of pace, and when it came to fighting with the other gods it was a nice challenge. I wouldn't have minded that they gave you the option of doing some sort of rock, paper, scissors battle or something against the other god, but it never came to be.

But in summary I enjoyed the game immensely and I wouldn't mind seeing another one on the road soon enough.

I beat the entire game as a good god, it wasn't that hard. I didn't get the feeling that the game wanted me to be evil, but I do think they should make the system for being a good god a lot better.

Hmm, I guess I just sucked at the time. I also started to lose my edge in RTS's around the time that game came out as well. =( I just can't multitask as well as I used to anymore.

I preferred 2. I rather liked building the cities and either having armies or impressing other civilizations, rather than having to spend every waking moment training my creature so he could sit around crapping. I would've liked more Miracles in 2 and more varieties of islands or such.

I would be interested but the focus would have to be on being a deity and the battle between good and evil. The second one turned too much into a Civ. type game. The first one had too much emphasis on babysitting your creature. I was pretty good with the creature but later in the game it was all I could to do manage my cities and him.

The previous two games weren't bad, but lacked content. The second one was repetitive to the extreme. Basically, if they made it into a proper game instead of a gimmick without the rest of the game, I'd play it.
