Black Friday: Should I bother?

I've never been to a Black Friday sale before

But this year I want to go and get NBA Live 10 and Dragon Age for $35 (and possibly Fallout 3 for $20) at best buy this year

I plan on going at about 8am, what do you think my chances are?

Should I bother going or will I most likely be dissapointed?

And for extra discussion (because we love discussion here at the Escapist) Are YOU bothering with Black Friday? What are you hoping to snag?

I'm not. I never go.

Its too early for me and I can never find anything I want and everyone usually gets the good stuff before I do. Plus, I can't stand most people in crowds so I don't bother.

Although, the WalMart sale for TomTom's looked pretty cool. 60 bucks for something that's usually 300 is pretty good.

OP: My parents are going, I think they're insane. They'll be there for hours and some of the stuff might already be sold out.

I'd say not worth it for Best Buy. That place sells out anything worthwhile shortly after opening, it'd be a big gamble for any games on sale.

As for me, I just did online deals this year at Amazon and Steam. Amazon had DA:O for 35$ today on all systems for instance.

Stupid people stress me out. Crowds of people pissed me off because they resort to herd mentality. Sales like this cause those on a grand scale. I stay away from malls and highways. (doesn't help when I live near both).

I'm going to one store, probably not going to waste that much time there. Get in, wait in line, get out
