I did something idiotic today. We were talking about how some blacks have become very iconic in the last couple decades, Barak Obama, Will Smith, Coach, etc. Someone mentioned Morgan Freeman, and I said, "Morgan Freeman is white, everyone in that game is." They then went on to correct me, "MORGAN Freeman, dumbass! Not Gordan Freeman."

People I know have done the same thing with Jason Bateman and Jason Schwartzman before too, and I was wondering if my fellow escapists have confused two people/characters because of their name or other features.

Whenever I think of Morgan Freeman, "Gordon" comes to mind, so I don't blame you. Both names end in the same letters, so of course that they're easy to mix up.

Morgan Freeman should be the narrator to Gordon Freeman's exploits; if there ever has to be a voice let it be a disembodied voice coming from Morgan Freeman telling the tales of Black Mesa much like how he did in Shawshank Redemption.

I'll also settle for Patrick Stewart, but he must fit in a "Gordon's Log".

My mom could never tell Nick Heidfeld apart from Nico Rosberg (Formula 1). Once she even invented a person named Heidberg.
It didn't become easier once there was Nico Rosberg and Nico Hülkenberg.

She gave up completely towards the end of the season, when all 3 of them drove.

And it's not like these are some damn foreign names - we are German.

HL2? Look at the male generic characters: when you get the air-boat, at the outposts, everywhere. Almost ALL OF THEM ARE BLACK!

And only 1 MC is, but considering how long he managed to exist in the series, he makes up for it. Also, being leader AND a peg-leg.

I'd just like to point out That not everyone in Half like was white. There was a black scientist model, that was used repeatedly (just like like all the other scientists). There is also Eli Vance and black citizens and rebels in Half life 2.
