Black Op Issues

Anyone having performance problems iwth the PC version of Black Ops? I'm suffering from extremely low framerate, 10 at best, and nothing Im doing is helping. Anyone know how to overcome these issues?

Im'm assuming you have hardware that at least meets the minimum requirements. Check all your drivers to see that they're updated, check which DirectX version is suported and which is being used in game, also check whether or not the 3D effect is on...might cause slowdowns too.

If nothing works then just check the Treyarch site. There's probably some support section.

Only issue I've had was that stupid mission in Vietnam where you have to kick the napalm barrels.

A lot of people are complaining about frame-rate and lock-up-every-20-to-30-seconds issues on the PC version. :/ I believe Treyarch are working on patching this, but..

Are your drivers up to date? I think the PC version uses Steam, so just use Steam to update your drivers.

Open Steam, click "steam" on the navigation bar, and click "update video drivers".
