Does anyone even care at this point? Didn't we have enough of the same old CoD every year? Shouldn't people look forward to CS: GO, Far Cry 3 and some other shooters? Especially since Far Cry 3 MP looks EXACTLY like CoD and it has a single player set in a free roaming environment full of wild people and even wilder animals and they all wanna kill you. I genuinely wanna know why people still care about CoD? How does it still sell? It's incredible.

Cool.

I, for one, actually enjoyed Black Ops.

It was probably one of the last good CoD games that reminded me of where the series went after WaW.

Kinda glad to have Treyarc back making a CoD game. Black Ops was fun. Haven't enjoyed a IW CoD since CoD4.

A new Call of Duty game?

In all seriousness though, WaW was the last great COD game and every game after WaW was a giant step backwards.

WaW had big maps and tanks. What more could you want?

Sooner or later people will get sick of COD and move to the next big thing.

Sigh... yet another year playing MW1 and MW2. Wonder if Call of Duty will ever have another game as amazing as CoD4? I would hazard a guess at "No".

The only way that I'll even consider this one is if Treyarch:

-Gives us actual drivable vehicles like tanks & jeeps; aviation can be called to support you a la every other COD after COD4 & BF2: Modern Combat. And be sure to have them in the campaign as well & not just in gimmicky sections, but can actually be used by a player at will.

-Gives us a good variety of maps that can accomodate all styles of play (CQB, sniper wars, vehicular combat, killstreak wars, etc.)

-Gives us a campaign that focuses a bit more on black ops & actually allows for some decent approaches to gameplay at the player's discretion. Maybe even some co-op campaign work, since you can focus on killing off two characters in one!

-Take MW3's survival mode & work it in alongside zombies. Have Spetznaz assassins, snipers, Juggernauts, KGB trap experts, GRU operatives Mi-24 Hind helicopters & even some armored vehicles. Allow it to accomodate up to 4 players in either split-screen, LAN, or online matches.

And this time next year, they will be talking about revealing Modern Warfare 4.
More of the same, more of the same...
