Haha no problem, at least I gave you the heads up before everyone blew up on you about it.deonte9109 said:*facepalm* you are correct sir. had too many tabs upMr.Pandah said:lolwut. The people that make these sell them on as either hacked saves 'upgrade kits' via the web.arc1991 said:What are your thoughts?
They don't, they never have since they've introduced the rank system.Xzi said:I don't think it matters. Pretty sure that the completed challenges/perks apply to all multiplayer modes. Of course, I don't play CoD games now, so I'm not 100% on that.m.zajac said:Don't know if anyone noticed, it's a Private Match.
I think it would be more accurate to edit your '...and even the precious "gem" that is Call of Duty isn't safe' so that it read '...and especially the precious "gem" that is Call of Duty isn't safe'. The more popular a game is, the more quickly it will be hacked.SnootyEnglishman said:HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA. I knew this would happen eventually..every game gets hacked and even the precious "gem" that's call of duty isn't safe.
XBl could always ban the people hacking, just like they did with MW2fix-the-spade said:The people that make these sell them on as either hacked saves 'upgrade kits' via the web.arc1991 said:What are your thoughts?
There is money to be made from hacks. So however fast you think someone can hack it, the hackers can probably do it faster. It's a good reason to buy PC games though, server admins bring the retribution way faster than Xbox Live can ever hope to.
Or maybe XBL/PSN should work on some kind of peer based moderation system...
I'd have to say that is not at all what my experience with the game was. It was all in good fun at first and while the dual shotguns and witch builds were annoying, I could put up with them. And then, in every other game for weeks, I had to put up with people exploiting the missile glitch. When that finally cleared, it seemed like every third time I'd join a server, I'd be playing with some arbitrary rule set where everyone had unlimited semi-automatic grenade launchers and other silly things. When that finally died down, it was the never ending air support from the crate exploit. And after that, the one man army exploits.Mr.Pandah said:Precisely.Korten12 said:Same, never found Hackers to be a problem and if they're boosting, well, easy XP for me I guess. XDMr.Pandah said:There will always be hackers so...I really don't care. They can do whatever they want. I'll flag them if they're in my game and leave. Doesn't really bother me.
And for all the people that complain about hackers in MW2...I have really never ran into more then 3 matches of them throughout ALL of my games. I have over 2 days clocked into it too I think, so...I don't see the huge problem. They seem VERY FEW and VERY FAR between.
They can and will, but it takes them months to do it and then the bans only affect a percentage. They don't address the problem as well as having someone physically there in the game to push the big ban button and let you get on with having fun.arc1991 said:XBl could always ban the people hacking, just like they did with MW2
Suppose, but a ban later is better than a ban that will never happen =\fix-the-spade said:They can and will, but it takes them months to do it and then the bans only affect a percentage. Apparently it isn't him, but it's the fact the hack has happened so early.Sky Captanio said:If you look at the guys comments he says he did it so that Treyarch would fix it. He seems to actually hate when people do stuff like that.
