On Black ops, the mission Executive order; I am on the final third of the mission and have gone underground into the tunnels under Baikonur. I'm at the second checkpoint in that section:

1) before picking up the KS-23s

2) after the first encounter near to the elevator, but before the computer room where a guard over turns the table.

I'm now well and truly stuck. I have to fight (the difficulty is VETERAN) through the computer room and then down the tunnel to the 90deg left hand turn. The enemies in the tunnel encounter are infinate-spawn and have much greater accuracy and target acquiring time in low light. My weapons are an ACOG AK-47 and a KS-23, I have full frags and one smoke and I need help.

plz

You'll need to use that smoke grenade you have and throw it at the first door ahead on teh right. You can then run into the door on the right towards the middle half of the hall. Then wait for your guys to move up. There are a few guys in that room though, but they're easy

This is the second hardest part of the campaign I think. The first being the vietnam trenches.

Ahh beat me too it.

Exactly like this, you really need to go into that room on the right.

And once you get past that room. Still be careful. There is another room diagonal from the far exit of the room you're in. Kill a few more guys and then hide.

I hid all the time like a crying baby during my entire veteran playthrough.

Thanks, I've tried, sort of. The dicks who programmed the enemy AI must have thought: 'I know; I'll make the enemies charge the player char firing from the hip whenever he takesout a grenade or reloads.'

This is the single most effective in game, non effective IRL, non realistic and MOST BLOODY ANNOYING TACTIC EVER

They run up and [Woods and Weaver are 'frank'ly shit (geddit, Frank Woods?)] as a single enemy with an AK can run past them from the compy rook, into the corridor and kill me whilst I reload without even getting wounded!

I hear you. That segment does suck ass. Its one of the few parts in the game where taking it slow is not an option.

You have to use that smoke grenade early and move into a room. Its the only way, unless you just kick ass at this game. Which I don't, despite beating it on veteran.

Apparently its 'as easy as MW2's Vet missions.' F*ck off, the Favela missions are WAY easier than the executive order tunnels and the Contingency timer has nothing on the downhill battle of SOG.

I agree 100%

It was much easier to let your team do all the work while I hid behind a Favela dumpster and made a sandwich IRL.

Fuck infinitely spawning baddies
