Black Ops FPS problems

After I've bought black ops, I've had extremely FPS problems. My PC is more than good enough and to make a comparison I ran MW2 with the highest resolution and the rest maxed out. I am trying to run black ops on the lowest resolution and the rest also at lowest. It seems like the lag is the same whatever resolution I use. I doubt this there is something wrong with my PC that may cause the problem.
I am sure anyone else is experiencing the same as me, and some help would be very much appreciated.

This is a known problem and has nothing to do with your PC. Online servers have been consistently laggy (though that could be a load problem) and some people have reported ridiculous CPU usage, suggesting a memory leak. Treyarch is aware of this and looking into it, and has promised to fix it soon.

Just hope they have fixed it when the weekend comes, got an important LAN to participate in : >
