Black ops matchmaking

I got Black ops the other day, and all seemed to be well. However the matchmaking, for me at least is patheticly shit. It will take around 10 minutes for it to make any progress, only for it to disconnect, before I even get to play. Is this a universal problem or is it just me?

no i have the same problem, i sat there this morning reading a book wile waiting for the match maker. i also find that when you try to join freinds groops or they try to join you, it dosent work. not sure if this happens to you as well. and do you play on ps3, x box, or pc?

If you play on PS3, I can totally agree with this. However since 1.05 was released I have had much fewer disconnects and match making issues.
