Ive never seen a game that people have been so angry about. people hate the anti quick scoping, the knifing, the... well everything that can be hated. i personally love the game, i know there are faults, but it is the FIRST WEEK of its release. also there are around 608,991 players online in the core playlist (Xbox), the cap being 690,059, this sheer mass of people contributing to the rapid discovery of glitches and exploits. i'm not a fan boy, just saying give Treyarch more time to work out the issues, then you can rage all you like.

As for the quickscoping thing, its good that its gone. Granted it could have been fixed if you didn't have that "auto-lock on" when you aim. You know, when you hold down the trigger and the game puts the scope on the enemy for you.
They should have just gotten rid of that. For the multiplayer at least.
I think this is the most balanced and fun Call of Duty online experience ever. Anyone who cries about it is just doing badly or not a fan of the game, in which case I suggest moving onto another game and keep your bitching to yourself.

pfft: Where were you during the 1st week of New Vegas? Every other thread was about how terrible/ glitchy the game was. Hell, I'm still seeing posts about it. I haven't played Black-Ops. Don't plan to either. I'm not a fan of Call of Duty.
i'd give it about 85% balanced... there are the odd gun that will not be beaten in a fair gun-fight but hey, they are needed to shut up all the douchebags who cant shoot, everyone has commando now (seriously look at some of the knife kills, its ridiculous) and drop-shotting hasnt been patched, its merely been improved because you can dive (so you can still drop-shot but look awesome while doing it) but over all i thought the game was great, a fuck-load better than MW2The Rockerfly said:

It's probably the best COD so far but it still has its problems.

But i dont think the killstreaks are overpowered. There are easy ways to deal with them. Dogs may be 1 hit kill, but they die so easly to any rifle or smg. The chopper gunners can easly be shot down, and SR71 Blackbirds can be counter spy planed. I think they are way more balanced then they were in MW2.
And i guess the fact that pistols are almost pointless in Black Ops means you should have a launcher on almost all of your classes.
OP: My only gripe to the game are Firing Range and Nuketown. I hate small maps. They both have horrible spawns, are easy places for spawncamping, and you can constantly spawn under air support fire because of how open the maps are.
I love Black Ops in all its glory, but the person who designed those to maps needs to be fed to a pair of angry hamsters.
People will always complain about what kills them, said it a few times but people don't like to admit fault in a online multiplayer but blame it on 'cheap tactics' or a glitch or something being overpowered.
CoD is one of the largest games at the moment I'm afraid if you want to play it your going to have to deal with the general mass of people moaning because the general mass of gamers are playing it.

There's this expectation of quality assurance. I know that the bar should be pretty low, but for a game that's practically a license to print money, the sheer volume of flaws in the game are unacceptable.MoosieMann said:
