Reminds of the signposts in LoZ:OoT. It was possible to cut them into pieces with your sword, and then magically repair them with an Ocarina Song. However, if you managed to knock the bottom bit off of, say, the chasm at the entrance to Gerundo Valley, it wouldn't return, and you would have the top half floating above the post.

But that was TWELVE YEARS AGO. You would think current-gen hardware would afford them enough resources to give a simple Apple it's own collision geometry or something.
