in MW2 i was obsessed with getting a nuke or getting Killstreaks but now in blackops that stuff doesnt bother me. my KD is incredibly low but i dont care id rather have fun, i play most round using only ballistic and tomahawk naturally i dont get alot of points but i have more fun

my class is going to be (once i get CP):
main weapon: FAL (silenced/ACOG)
secondry: ballistic
perks: ghost pro, warlord pro, hacker pro
equipment: motion sensor, concusion, tomahawk

im gonna try for a stealthy class where i booby traps care packages and hack people equipment whilst remaining hidden from view, obviously i wont get a good score doing this but its fun and thats all that matter

so i was wondering do you play for fun or stats OR do you have classes both? if so what classes do you use?

Stats all the way. If I want to have fun then I just go play unranked servers.
can i ask you what do you gain from your stats, whos gonna care if you are 100th (top 100 usually stat pad or hack) on the leaderboards and your KD is in double figures. all i care about is skewering people from unbelievably long ranges

Meh. If I had to choose, I'd take fun over stats any time. Stats in this game are meaningless, unless it's your captures in an objective type, or kills in deathmatch.

My stats are OK I guess. I don't pay them any mind. Although there is something to be said for getting a great K/D ratio in any game. It feels good to get 20 kills and 2 deaths, no matter if you were playing Domination and didn't even win.

That said, people who just want kills/XP in objective games make me rage almost as much as the dood with a swastika for his symbol who took their flag back to their base, despite being on our team. Grr.

I don't play much thanks to the terrible quality of the PC port, but when I do I just like to have fun.

Numbers are just numbers. Laughs and friends are much better :D
i couldnt have put it better myself ;D

Mostly fun. But then again, going 5-20 isn't always so fun. So stats do play a slight part.

The people who camp in objective matches just to get their 7.00 KDR can all die in a fire.

Sometimes I just camp killstreaks. On the other hand, I usually just go nuts with the tomahawk. And still get killstreaks (record streak with it: 5).

i camp in objective matches because its fun to put some C4 round the flag in domination while watching from a distance and detonating when they try to capture

then again im just an evil guy but being evil is fun

Yeah I was just making a generalization. Defending flags/targets has value, but there's a difference between doing that on defense and doing that for entire games, regardless of your objective (defend/attack) or score.

And I know a little something about being evil. Sometimes I play the Gun Game just to stab people. My record for one game (while still trying to win) is 10 setbacks. Expect hatemail.

unfortunalty im aweful with the python and shotguns, makes gun game very difficult for me. once ive got some CP to waste that sounds like a good plan ;)

but i love hunting that yellow dot on sticks n stones and bankrupting them, infact i pulled off such an incredible tomahawk kill that a guy (who was winning) actually congratulated me on bankrupting him

Hardline Pro, with Stealth Plane, SAM Turret, and Care Package killstreaks...
Get ammo, turn it into chopper gunner, obtain score and have fun!
