Based off the web comic of the same name. I thought it was decent, 2d side scroller. The demo is free in the PS Store.

I haven't finished it yet (I'm playing it when I run out of stuff to do) but it is, as the OP said, decent. It's nice to see a good old-fashioned platformer with almost no plot being put out on the Arcade and PSN... wait.
So, yeah, as far as I can tell (I didn't know about the webcomic until now) you play as a catgirl bounty hunter named Kit who gets her... object (I don't remember what it's called) stolen and chases down the person who took it, all the while slinging phrases like "loot get" and "gratz!" It's extremely silly (doubly so for the phrase "noink," which apparently stands for NO Idea Noob Kid. Yeah, it's T-rated, what did you expect?) but fun.

I have played it (only 'cos it was a free demo) and it's got bold, vibrant colors, basic gameplay and story.
Got bored of it pretty quickly.
Although, I suppose if you like the web comic (which I never knew about before reading this thread) you might like it.

I kinda liked the comic it was based on till the guy who did it started not updating it, the game is ok I guess, I didnt really like how it played but I was surprised the voice acting in the cinematics didnt seem that bad
Sorta. As I said above, you play as Kit, a catgirl bounty hunter. Weapon of choice is a flying sword called a Blade. It's a nifty idea that gets a couple of fun uses.SantoUno said:

Wow, that URL was obvious. anyway, I played the demo through Steam and it seemed kind of meh to me. The environments are good, but the combat was super clunky and awkward. Gamespot gave it a 5.0, for whatever that's worth. IGN gave it a 7. I do like the vibrant style, and you should probably get it if you liked Strider. Here are some youtube trailers:

You should definitely play the demo to see for yourself. The combat just felt too awkward and repetitive to me, so I didn't get it.
EDIT: Now that I think about it, the game really assumes that you are already a fan of the series, by which I mean to say it just kind of drops the player off without any backstory initially and assumes we know the personality of the characters and such. One of the tutorial tips goes so far as to assert that the play must necessarily know what the currency is called in the game. It just feels like a ton of fanservice that can't be asked bring new people in.
Overall, I'd say you should get it IF you are already a fan of the comic. Otherwise, meh.
