No, I'm not talking about spambots (the annoying little hellspawns that they are), I mean the kind you find in a game, movie or TV show. You know what I mean, when a character starts spewing a list of features for something that no rational person (that isn't a salesperson) do in an actual conversation. Something like this

I know the above example is done for laughs, but in shows like NBC's Chuck there's often really shameless product placement (and I can't find any clips of it on youtube).
So, suggestions on how to stop it?
