It's not about 135KB at the moment. I didn't edit it to include more deaths earlier but I saved it correctly losing all of my work. Luckily I didn't have a backup.

That isn't smaller than I expected. My avatars don't often take a lot of cropping and resizing to get it to conform to the limit. The pictures I use are never 1MB + unedited...

My avatar isn't a simple animation with only words and a blank background. The size can get pretty large if you keep it like that. As for your avatars usually jpeg images don't have more detail and thus larger sizes. I don't usually scale the quality down a tad to abide by the size limitations.
