The title says it all. We don't know yet if it will be their next album or produced soon after but we do know that Hansi Kürsch has been working on a project for a while that is to go under the blind guardian title. The album has been in the works for a while and will forgo any of the usual Rock elements in favor of orchestral music and perhaps Choral singing.

So what are your thoughts? Is this a good move for Hansi and Guardian as a whole? Do you think that the average audience for Blind Guardian will appreciate it? Is anyone here excited about it? Really not much more to say, but I can say as one fan I am quite excited.

If you would care to link to some samples I would give a listen and tell you an opinion, but I can't as it stands now.

Well of their new work they have none, but I have a few of my old favorites that I can link you to, especially some stuff from 'nightfall in middle earth' which made good use of Orchestral music.

Just a few songs to give you a general idea. Not all of them Orchestral but it gives you some notion of what they can do and have done. Please forgive any AMVness as I grabbed the first songs for each I could find.
