If I'm going to be playing in the UK anyway could I play as my other character, Theo? I just feel like he's more developed and easier to get into.Nikolaz72 said:Redirecting all Australians to the UK due to a Co-GM leaving and less than the horde of players originally thought to rush here. It would be nice if you could edit your sheet to fit. Just wanted to inform you.
Area: UK
Name: Theodore "Theo" Wash
Nationality: American-English
Age: 29
Education: BS in Mechanical Engineering
Affiliation: London Rail Transportation (employer), leaning towards rebels but not fully invested
Appearance: 6'1", medium build, short brown hair, dark blue eyes.
Familial status: Single
Social Status: Lower-middle class. Works as an engineer on star ships, which earns him decent pay for a human.
Notable Skills: Adequate firearms skills, understands basic language of (whatever race owns England), understanding of some alien technology.
Personal Philosophy: Communist. Theo has secretly obtained and read through the works of Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin, Mao Zedong, and others and firmly believes that a united communist Earth would be best for humanity.
Bio: The Wash family, like many others, immigrated from the United States to Europe pre-invasion to escape an increasingly oppressive government. Theo's parents wound up in the slums surrounding London, slums that now housed many other American immigrants. Theo was born in one of these slums post-invasion, and so has known no other life but one under the alien regime. Despite alien policy regarding human education, Theo's parents managed to get him into a private school of technology were he discovered a passion for building and engineering. Although he was not allowed to learn much history, he also found himself interested in old political philosophy. During the later stages of his education, Theo managed to smuggle some old books into the country, such as the "Communist Manifesto" and "The Prince", and began reading through them religiously. By the time he became a fully qualified engineer, Theo had already decided that he wanted to work towards a communist government. Once qualified, Theo got a job with the local railroad company, London Rail Transportation (rough translation). About 3 years into this job, Theo was approached by one of his co-workers in private and was asked to join the resistance. He declined, but swore that he wouldn't rat anyone out. The next day the co-worker mysteriously vanished, either taken by the government or fleed to the resistance. Although the man was gone, the idea of joining still lingers in Theo's mind, and recently he has seriously considered it, though has yet to act on it.
