Not only do they frequently rip off other companies before their games are out, they also show their fear of competition through things like this.

But Blizzard's business model has ALWAYS been to rip off companies with far more talented employees. How is this any different?

Blizzard takes good ideas that other people have and does it better than they did. There is no shame in any developer admitting "Hey, that's a really good idea, we should do it ourselves." I think you'll find that any developer worth their salt will do exactly that.

And if Blizz was so afraid of competition, why would they be offering advice to TOR dev crew? lol

Secret World is Funcom. Look at AO and AOC to see what sort of a developer you're dealing with there.
