Blizzard Isn't Happy About Overwatch Players Abusing XP Gain in Custom Games

Honestly, if they keep releasing heroes, maps, modes, and events, I'm fine with them stopping people from earning a bunch of extra boxes while they go and make dinner. They probably make more than enough as it is, but it's kind of understandable that they'd want people to actually be playing their game. I mean, imagine if you just left the game running in one of these lobbies while you were at work...
On the one hand.... they're just skins so what's the harm? But on the other hand, Blizzard is a company and they probably want to keep making money.
I do think they're going a little overboard with this though. Especially since not everyone doing this is going to read this post.

They do, but it can be easily foiled by simply putting a paper weight on one of your keyboard keys.Zydrate said:

And yet Valve's totally okay with people idling for weapon and crate drops.
Granted, the crates still need to be opened with keys, but it's even possible to get keys without you paying a single penny.
