So Blizzcon is underway and so far all the news, even the news about games I don't CARE about such as WoW, has me excited.
Starcraft: So far Blizzard has dropped the bombshell we all already know about- the three part game. What suprised and pleased me is that this late in the games development they're still modifying units, adding unique abilities. Furthermore Singleplayer will have unique units and researches that couldn't be included in multiplayer (for balance reasons). The fact they're working on the gameplay down to the wire... I dunno, excites me for some reason
Diablo 3: New class introduced (The Wizard, which seems to be a combination of the Mage from Diablo and the Sorceress from Diablo 2) and new footage, yay! Nothing earth shaking here, but they did give a glimpse into their skill tree, which will have three branches function on several different tier, and EACH tier will have 3 different passive skills- resulting in about 12 Passive skills PER BRANCH, for what may be about 36 passive skills per character. They're doing it to up the customization a great deal supposedly - oh, and everything has synergy bonus's. I <3 Passive Skills and Synergy Bonus's.
World of Warcraft: All of the classes are getting major tweaks in their skills, repetetive or ancillary skills are being combined. I don't play WoW, but the fact they're still fiddling with the formula several years and several million dollars in gives me a big stiffy.
What are you guys interested in, if anything? Or is it all just a big "blah blah blah PASS" to you?
PS: No, I am not a shill or employee of Blizzard (man I only WISH I had a job :\)
