Hypothetically:

There is a psychic trying to pry into your mind to get valuable information or to control you, your only defense to block this person from your mind is to fill your mind with something distracting or disturbing. Maybe you fill your thoughts with an extremely catchy song to distract the psychic or think of a disgusting scenario or something horrible to make the psychic avoid prying further.

So, what image/song/whatever would you fill your mind with to keep a mind reader from gaining access to your mind?

Porn obviously,(i pride myself on how bluntly i put that) it requires no thought to hold in your mind, its essentially mans perfect Firewall.

i wonder what they hope to gain from my mind? the entire Loadout of Deadspace? Gta Cheats? The Comic books of Frank Miller?

I would go over something like Toxicity over and over and over again. Plus, I'll fill my mind with boring things nobody cares about.

I agree. Who will willingly go into my mind?

I'd fill it with whatever I feel the strongest about. Something to "flood" my own thoughts to the point where it feels like there is nothing else in my mind that a psychic could see.

Video games are an easy topic to do that with lol.

I'd probably think of the chorus of "Boom Boom Pow" by the Black Eyed Peas, because of how damn catchy it is. If not that then I would play "Bananaphone" over and over in my head. It could drive a man insane.

Eight, sir; seven, sir;
Six, sir; five, sir;
Four, sir; three, sir;
Two, sir; one!
Tenser, said the Tensor.
Tenser, said the Tensor.
Tension, apprehension,
And dissension have begun.

I'd almost say, let them try, there are horrors behind these walls that are far beyond anything my conscious imagination can conjure up.

But a song would also work, Divine Intervention by Frank Klepaki should do the trick quite nicely.

Random counting and carmelldansen, interjected by horribly graphic, brutal sex and TV white noise. They'll run away screaming.

"42, 10, 19, 2....SCHISSSS!!!... 154, 6000, 7...dananana DA DA DA de da da da... 16, 3, 4, 15...NO! UGH, uhhn! *shlorp*... SCHIIIIISSSSS!...CARAMELDANSEN!"

Something like that...
