So i want to start a blog, but im a little low on ideas, so now i turn to you (like a flower leaning towards the sun; cookie for reference)

Do you read them? What do you like to read about in a blog? Do you have one yourself? What is most important for you in a blog? Do you hate blogs and why?

[Sightless Wisdom]

I have a blog; it has the same name as my Escapist profile. I usually write about psychology and related issues, depending on what's currently going on. I think blogs that just talk about the writers life are usually boring and useless... so don't do that? Anyway I've got no ideas for you.

Don't read any blog and honestly they seem pretty useless to me. The only people who seem to be looking at blogs are other bloggers looking for endless amounts of people to link to their blog in exchange for linking to theirs.

The chance of getting a big following is pretty slim, if you've really got some stuff worth sharing it might help as practice, but you'll need to switch to a different medium eventually in all likelihood if you want to get anywhere with it.

I don't read them. I used to post a few every so often on sites I was on that had them, but it was mainly just for a time waster kind of thing. I don't really hate them, but I never really go out of my way to read them.

Yeah i thought about doing it about my life, but as my life is as boring as a cold pizza, that wouldnt really be that interesting...

I was thinking about a news blog, with news that the mainstream media dont cover or only show for 10 secs... Those news are imho, alot more interesting and appealing than the death and horror you see in the mainstream media...
