I was watching a tv Show called bizarre Foods when he try out food people eat. These two episodes in Iceland and Finland had blood dishes. So I wonder if anyone here that is from those two countries have ever eaten any blood based dishes could tell me what is it like eating it because I always wonder what it is like.

Also do Finland really serve blood cake in school?

We have something similar on the UK called black pudding. Strange flavour.

Not a fan myself, but it's spiced quite nicely so I'll eat it if I'm hungry.

Mmmmm Black Pudding! Can't beat it on a proper fry up
(To non those not from the UK a fry up is: bacon, sausage, eggs, beans, toast/fried bread, tomato and black pudding)

Now I'm hungry!

Don't know about blood cake or black pudding, but I've had blood sausage before. It's basically a dark colored sausage, a little gamy tasting from what I remember. As for country, I'm from the US, but it came from a Brazillian restaurant, if I remember correctly. It was a long time ago.
