Blood-Curdling Rage!

Warning, this is a rant thread.

I live at home, reasonable considering my age. I also have two sisters, both the same age as me. One I get along with fine, the other is intolerable. I have posted about this sister in the past, but she crossed the line.
I woke up this morning to find about $60.00 missing from my wallet. Having lived with her my whole life, I checked hers, $45.00 was in it. Considering her spending habits the presence of cash in her wallet is a rarity. I asked her about it, and she eventually admitted to stealing the money hoping I wouldn't notice (as I am paid in cash). My mother told her to pay me back, but it has been a week and she still owes me the $15.00, a trivial amount, but the principle stands. She does not just take money however, her "antics" have resulted in me having to re-install windows twice in my computer, and as of such password protecting every device I own, (the second time I forgot to lock the computer before leaving my room) which is a major inconvenience. She takes my razors, (I will not use a blade if someone else has, that is just nasty) wastes all of my toothpaste (I have my own washroom), and if my mother buys snack food for school I need to hide it from her.
I don't know how to deal with her, she blatantly disobeys my parents, but since she does not care about anything grounding does not do anything, neither does the removal of the very few privileges she has left.
Last time she didn't respect my property I a. Blocked Facebook, which I was soon ordered to reinstate, not that she couldn't find other ways to communicate and b. took a couple shots at her leg with my airsoft rifle.
It appears she didn't get the message.
Anyone have any Ideas on what to do?

She doesn't seem to learn even that way. Positive reinforcement has not worked, and negative seem no to work either ERRRRR

Just beat the living hell out of her one day, if she takes something from your wallet use your wallet and beat the crap out of her. Some times the only way someone will learn is if you just up and roflstomp them into the dirt.

Also if you do what I said be ready to accept that your parents will most likely be pissed off. Also if you have not done it yet tell your parents to do a better job of raising there daughter or get her on meds. I sounds like she needs to see a shrink.

Also don't let it slide, shout so loud it leaves her shell shocked if you have to, just make sure she understands EVERYONE is pissed at her and she is very hateable as a person.

Sell some of her stuff at cashconverters (don't know what the American equivalent is) to recoup your losses.

This is pretty much what you need to do... Minus the petty theft of her stuff... There's no need to stoop to her level...

How does your other sister get along with this trouble-maker sister of yours?

Bottom-line is, shes your sister. And until either of you are married or living separately, you're pretty much stuck with each other. So, in short you'll have to find some way of making it work. I get that stealing etc. is definitely crossing lines, but eating your snacks, using your toothpaste etc are stuff that naturally goes on between siblings.

oh, maybe she needs a psychiatrist?

All that aside, I'm glad I don't have a sister ^_^

I say you should formally declare war against her and start vandalizing her room, leaving her things at far off locations around town while all the same protecting the things you have dear.

I reckon that the middle ground between these two ideas is good option.

Declare and all out war of attrition on her. (tip: do so when everyone is watching/listening for maximum effect)
Drawing lines in the sand first is the best way not to get into trouble if things don't go according to plan. =3

Lock up all possessions you own out of her grasp, aim for a complete denial of usage here. =3
(Locks on doors are probably the best method unfortunately)

Keep this psudo-public spectacle up for as long as needed.
(Note: if you can get other members of the family to do the same, you may see quicker results)

The aim is to install the fact that no one will tolerate her actions anymore.

When she concedes, lift the ban. Re-offends? MOAR WAR![footnote]I do not condone actual modern warfare of any form, War is bad m'kay![/footnote] ^.^

I meant the selling of stuff as more of a last resort when she steals stuff when he really needed the money, or when she absolutely refuses to repay him. I don't mean just selling her stuff in revenge.

I say get a safe for your wallet and anything else that you are worried she might steal from you and hide it where only you know about it. I also think you need to get a lock for your door and keep the key on you at all times.

If she does not pay you back the $15.00 I say you take it right out of her wallet whenever she gets money again.

I'm guessing your room comes with a door. I'm guessing that door comes with a lock. Use it.
