blu ray help

I've got the logik lbd1000 blu ray player and it won't play my copy of the last Heath Ledger movie, do I need to update it and if so how do I do so? Or alternatively should I look at getting a better blu ray if I want to avoid this happening again? So far the Heath Ledger movie is the only blu ray disc I've had this problem with.

I have heard there is a firmware update, if so is it easy to install?

Sounds like you need to update the firmware, if your player is not connected to the internet then you can go to your manufactures website, download the latest firmware, burn it to a disk then pop it in and it should begin to update. The same applies if you have a usb port with a usb stick.

Connect it to the internet and then download the firmware. Newer Blu-Ray discs won't play without the updated firmware. Getting a better system won't matter in this case.
