I'm a WOW player, but the greater good is far more important than any petty game squabble.
Honestly the number of times I've heard someone say, starting some anti gaming tirade 'Well, I remember playing pong/pacman/space invaders...' and I just think ,well shut up then as you obviously know nothing about the subject you're about to condemn.
