bought a cheap bluetooth headset and the instructions are for the wrong model, It looks roughly like this:
It only has a single button on the side which you hold down to turn it on which starts the light blinking and a volume/fast forward thing on the side.
basically asking for suggestions of common pairing methods on other devices i can try to get it into pairing mode so far i have tried holding down the power button which switches it on and off and messing with the volume switch but no luck so far.
EDIT: pushing volume up or down and then the power button briefly makes the led turn red.
EDIT: problem solved. press the button for a really really really long time. shoulda done some more googleing.
