Blur: Your thoughts?

Greetings, my fellow Escapees.

I know it's somewhat early for this, since it just came out today, but has anyone checked out Blur on the PC? It looks intriguing, and I'm considering picking it up. I'm wondering if it's worth buying new, or if I should just wait a few months for it to hit lower prices and pick it up then. I've heard good and bad things about it, so I thought I'd pick up some first-hand, everyday gamer opinions on it. Thanks in advance!

Er, I'm not too sure how different it is on the PC vs. a console, (I'm playing on a 360) but my first impression of Blur is that for a racing game, it starts out really slow. the D class cars are REALLY bad. the Blur beta was quite fun, but the for some reason the actual game doesn't quite feel the same, hopefully once you can use the better cars it'll get better.

Split/Second on the other hand was fun from the get go.

Blur? Not really familiar with them other than "Song 2", which made great theme music for FIFA Road to World Cup 98 on PS1, still the best soccer game I've personally played. Woo-hoo!

But yeah, OT: I hear Split/Second is better, but I haven't played either, so take that as you want.

Late to reply, but this game is a fucking travesty on the PC.
Multiplayer requires you forward ports in your router and there are NO KEY BINDINGS. There are only 2 key layouts you can pick from and, of course, they're all awful.

What YEAR is this again? Port forwarding and no key bindings? Fucking hell.
