According to this article [http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/8240206.stm], now that we have MEPs from the British national party they are now elligable to be invited to the panel on Question time.

Personally Id like to see Nick Griffin on Newsnight getting owned by Paxman. Until then, if you were in the audience on Question time, what would you ask Nick Griffin?

We can just lock him in a room with Paxman for as long as it takes for him to commit suicide and/or get devoured by Paxman due to lack of food.

If a Nick Griffin was on Question Time I'd fill the room with minorities just to watch him go crazy.

Give these people as much air time as possible I say. Just in case there are people out there who don't realise what narrowminded conservative idiots they are.

"Why won't you change your name to Ingsoc? I'd totally vote for you if you did."

That's probably a lie, but if there was a party named Ingsoc, I wouldn't not consider it.

Something people don't realise... I watched a programme on Sky One about the BNP. It was very unbiased. One particularly unpleasant attribute is the whole 'British people only in Britain. We're British and damn proud of it for no good reason.' But worryingly this is a very widespread view in Ireland (obviously, not 'we're British'). There isn't a specific party dedicated to it, but a lot of people think like this.

I s'pose what I mean is, at least British people are mostly aware of the unpleasantness of the BNP, and don't like them. But in Ireland, there's less awareness of this blind nationalistic slightly racist attitude.

I'd ask, why did you name your party the British Nazi Party? Because that's what is basically is.
you are totally correct.
seeing as Nazi is short for Nazionale. meaning National.

I'd ask him why the SNP seems to have such a better reputation than the BNP.

Sigh, the reason I would ask is to provoke an answer which would potentially (and likely) cast his party in a bad light. That's the point. I know why. I just wanted Nick Griffin's explanation.

They should be allowed to appear on question time, at least then they can answer questions people have on them instead of being called racist. I mean they have pretty left wing views but its not inherintly racist to stop people immigrating to the country.

He's too much of a slimy shit to be caught like that, he'd avoid the question and turn the answer to his agenda.

I'd ask him if he was Prime Minister, would he accept Barack Obama into the UK for a state visit? Second question would be whether or not he would allow Fabio Capello to continue working in England. Whatever he says he's damned.

Easy enough, stick him in the Bradford or Leeds leg of question time... eaten for breakfast.

a sad day. by all accounts. the more attention you give these people the more idiots will be sucked in, looking for a scapegoat, because blaming people that are different is so much easier then taking responsibility.

They are right wing. Not left wing.

Their reasons behind wanting to stop immigration ARE inherantly racist.

Oh god lord.

I really hope they just get every asylum seeker around and plop them in the studio. That would be some great TV right there.
