Killer Bunnies. It's basically a board game without the board. And with cards. So technically it's a card game. But the rules make it closer to a board game. And there are evil raisins. EVIL. CHOCOLATE-COVERED. RAISINS. Go play it!

I love the classic axis and allies. I've played loads of other basic board games (monopoly, risk etc), but I haven't really played any of the more specialist ones. I played Lord of the Rings once though and had a lot of fun.

LOTR risk? Wow, I thought I was only person on the planet who actually had fun with it.

Me and my mates regularly have board game nights.

Settlers of Catan is one of our most played games in fact.

Ahh good times.

Monopoly, Risk, Diplomacy, Cluedo, Scrabble and Chess are all stacked away in my cupboard and regularly get played.

Also, we get Mousetrap out every now and again, but I can't say we've ever really played it. Set it up and trapped mice, yes, but never played it.

That is one impeccable list of games. There's only one missing Rummikub

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rummikub, I'm not 100% sure it would qualify as a board game (its similar to scrabble) but it is a fantastic game to play.
