I don't think there's really much to be gained from Myspace these days, but I can guess where this would go. $10 monthly fee, $5 to create a profile, $2 for every update, etc, etc, etc.

Myspace

Facebook.

These things phase in and out of popularity. In ten years time everyone will be mocking facebook too, I'm certain. It's already becoming a cesspool. The only question remains though, who's more annoying, Kotick or Tom?

I can see CoD:Elite having some kind of exclusive connection to MySpace.

And to all those posters making juvenile comments about Kotick looking like a demon... couldn't agree with you more!

OK. Good for him.

I must agree he is looking pretty evil in that photo. I think it's the lack of light in the eyes. It makes him look...less human.

Bah - who uses MySpace these days anyway? He has my blessing to waste his money if he so desires (though he could waste it by giving it to me, there is always that option XD).

Myspace? People still use that thing?

Let him have it. I'd take the 100 mill and run, laughing all the way.

And yes, he does have a kind of "I'm gonna eat your children Eeeeehehehehehe" look about him in that picture, doesn't he?

CODspace....

He should take that 100 million and invest it in a gaming franchise that isn't COD.

Maybe if we feed shit websites to the Kotick Demon it'll withold it's evil for the time being.
That gives me this hilarious image of a CoD style survival game in which you must feed the Kotick Demon random items in a location while holding off zombies at the same time.

Yeah, way I see it, please do buy Myspace, no-one will care, and it's $100 million less that Kotick has to mess with the games industry, can only be a good thing, btw Kotick I've got a bridge to sell....

The above poster has a point, there's something about the way he looks, like he's a serial killer with a penchant for slicing people's faces off, and only wearing the ones that don't fit properly. Then combining them with a strange old man's wig from the 50s.

that would imply he was human in the first place

OP: he is part of a group that might be interested in buying myspace (he probably didnt even knew what the group was trying to do)

well, news worthy? no... video game relevant? not... interesting? nope

i guess the news outlets will still report ANYTHING Kotick does, staple his name in any news and people will click, no matter how relevant the news are.

[i still love the escapist, but i find this kind of being true with every online game relevant news]

I now have the urge to log into my old Myspace and laugh at what an idiot I was 7 years ago.

Well, if Bobby's got a hundred million he doesn't need I'd better start writing a pitch for him. I know I'd be the better investment than MySpace. :p

I am sorry. I am so, so, so sorry.

I'm not for OR against this because I could care less about MySpace, but I still wound up doing a bit of a spit-take.

I think people are mistaken about Kotick looking like a demon...he looks like Hell's cherub.
