Damn shame. Damned god damn shame. Don't let anybody ever tell you video games never ruined any lives.
Addiction to video games, sure. Don't make it sound like the games themselves, though. COD4 didn't kill him. Although I don't think that's what you were saying anyways, just wanted to point it out. And it is a damn shame.

Damn. I hate stories like this. I could see something like this happening to a few of my friends. This is a damn shame. But I must say, stories like these are also why I don't watch the news or read the paper, It just depresses me.

I mean, the lion doesn't mourn every zebra it kills does it?
Emotions are what separate us from the animals.

Every kid runs away for awhile at least once in their life, to "show" their parents they're srs bsns, but they always wander back home. Looks like this one was just unlucky. Poor kid.
Neither of the above statements are true. Animals have emotions, that's pretty much fact.

And I didn't run away from home, ever.
true my cat had 5 kittens and one died. The mom cat knew this and was sad for a few days. Then when the kittens could walk one of them got out and she couldn't leave the room due to the fact she had to watch the other 3. We got that kitten back to her though.

on topic- my condolences to the family

What a bummer, poor kid and parents. Perhaps some intervention long ago would have helped, but I guess we'll never know.

Poor family. I really don't care if they blame video games if thats what they need to do to get through this.

Its a horrible thing to hear, the death of any child is something to be remorseful about.

But we have to understand these things do in fact happen, And the only thing you can do is hope that nothing like this would ever happen to your child or your future children

A horrible end to a tragic story. A death isn't always a bad thing however at this age it was too soon, after all it would be the same as losing my own brother. This is horrible rest in peace Brandon.
