Haha me too. I can also do the weird wavy thing with my tongue. And pull all sorts of scary gymnastic positions...

I don't know if this counts, but I don't gain weight from eating sweets. In fact, Wii Fit considers me underweight, or low Normal.

I'm also very sensitive. I can't go to sleep if I feel some [small]tiny[/small] dirt under me.

And whenever someone touches in inside of my elbows, I spend a while with my arms folded. I get reminded of shots, so it's like I try to protect my arms. I'm not sure if that counts.

My finger tips and heels are extremely sensitive. It makes it incredibly uncomfortable to walk sometimes and to type. My left pinky is the biggest problem; sometimes it flares up and just feels WEIRD. I cannot describe the feeling as it is unique but it is awkward and horrible and just typing about it is making me squirm.

I feel like if I were to just rip off my fingernail it would solve the issue, but I can't do that for obvious reasons.

huh, i'm pretty sure i have this, lol.

There might be something to that.. Whenever you feel like you have a sneeze in you, but can't get it out, people tell you to look up at a light. I'm not sure if the looking up is supposed to help, or the bright light, but I've received that advice from a lot of different people, so that might be the body's normal reaction.

My quirk is I have what can only be described as "landscape thumbs". My thumb is very short and fat, and the thumb nail is at least three times as long across as it is tall... The only other person I know like that is my Great Aunt..

My eyes turn from blue to green depending on my blood sugar level. Pale blue when it's low and green when it's high. One time I passed out in some random person's driveway after taking my parents' car for some unknown reason (I have no memory of it), and after I was revived by paramedics and spent a few hours in the hospital with glucose IVs my eyes were bright emerald green, it was awesome. It was very confusing though.

Something I've noticed when cleaning my ears with Q-Tips is that when I clean out my right ear canal (I'm careful to avoid poking my ear drum), it makes me cough. This is just my right ear, my left doesn't react when I do the same to it.

Wow, you have an asymmetrical nasal canal. Probably when you're pushing the q-tip in it forces air/material down through the back of your throat (it's all connected), but it's more blocked on your left side.

Anyway, for one reason or another, I get muscle spasms between my shoulder blades every so often. *shrug*

Whenever I'm around someone who's in pain for more than ~90 seconds, I begin to feel a very similar pain in whatever region of their body is afflicted.

Yay empathetic pain! I seem to do the same thing - kind of a crap super-power, really.

Sure, it's a crappy power in everyday life...but theoretically, it would make you immune to torture, able to exploit weaknesses in enemy combatants, and allow you to continue living unfazed until you physically cannot substain yourself any more. Kind of like a honey badger.

Er... No. Poster feels other people's pain. IE - unless his torturer has the same condition, which is an almighty coincidence, then the poster will still feel it.

It would make him easier to torture, in fact. You can just take him to a hospital and hang around.

Say, for example, you're tied to a chair by mobsters. If you say, managed to kick one of them in the balls before they got to work on you and then exerted sufficient focus and willpower, you'd have a stinging pain in your scrotum without the agony of being dismantled by a baseball bat.

But that's just speculation, based on my experience with such happenings.

EDIT: The hospital thing was a stroke of sadistic brilliance, though. Nice one.

I'm not sure how I feel about being congratulated on being a tip-top torturer of people who feel the pain of others.... Well, that's my career sorted then. How does one get started in the sadist industry?

In my experience, sufficient willpower allows you to pick who you want to be pained like. IE if I'm in a room with someone who has a thrid degree burn around their groinal area and someone with a stubbed toe, and I've already got a big gash in my arm, concentrating on the stubbed toe guy keeps me from wanting to hack my genitals/arm off. This would, theoretically, allow you to ignore being beat with a baseball bat (although you wouldn't be able to ignore the massive physical trauma done to you after he's left the room).

And if you want to get started in the sadism industry, I'd recommend becoming a dentist, a third-world prison warden, an acountant, or an auditor--all of them cause suffering and fear wherever they go, so it's a matter of personal preferance. The problem is finding someone who can approximate other people's pain so you can use the hospital thing; but if this thread is any indication, they're not too rare. Happy hunting!

I used to think that but apparently not, I did it once when I was at school and somebody yelled out and thought i'd broken my thumb.

I'm not sure but whenever I get in the car my family uses now, it smells really weird and my stomach starts to really ache. I start to feel slightly sick. It's really weird.

The fingers on both of my hands slightly bend up at the end and my sternum is ridiculously deep but I have had no problems with breathing or anything thankfully.
