I recently just got off of Apple's movie trailer site, to find a trailer to a strange Bollywood movie. In a synopsis found on Wikipedia, it is the second to be released by Warner Bros. Its called Chandni Chowk To China, in case you didn't know. I think I saw a bit of a Bollywood movie in the past sometime, but I didn't really understand the point to it. Are all Bollywood's movies like this? I just wanted to ask what is appealing about these movies, if anyone watches them, and why.

If you're asking why Bollywood movies have musical numbers, it's just a cultural thing.

If you're asking about the particular thematic elements of that movie, it's not a "Bollywood" thing...

Bollywood is just about the coolest thing in the world. It's a combination of Pantomime, musical, soap opera and action film all in one tasty indian can. the best way to enjoy them is to take in the spectacle and enjoy the ride
