I've been re-reading one of my favorite books, The Beach By Alex Garland, and one of the reasons why I love it so much is how I can identify with Richard. What characters in literature are most like you? Who did you identify with?

If this has been done before, apologies but I couldn't find it.

Well I have never been compared to any book character but I have been compared 3 game characters. Rock Howard, Leon S Kennedy, and one character from another game I cannot remember and he won;t tell me which one.

Mat Cauthorn (sp.?) From the Wheel of Time books, surrounded by self-assured, superior women, who he always has to rescue. Yet I don't get to rescue them literally too often. Plus all he wants to do is enjoy life and shit keeps happening.

I also find I can identify with certain characters from different media, and if anyone can work out my personality from the following examples of characters I identify with, then they get a free cookie on me

Books: Jamie from the Power of Five series; Cryl-Nish Hlar (see above); Carrot from Discworld.
TV: Sid, Cassie, Emily or JJ from UK drama Skins; Locke from Lost.
Film: Sam from The Day After Tomorrow.

Well I don't think I could get to Dexter's face because he's not real (though I still want to), and the actor is far away and maybe has security that will foil my plot being famous and all. So if your face is available for licking, pencil me in for it, it will help me curb the pangs I have for the real thing.
