Book Recommendations please

One of my favorite books is Catcher in the Rye, but it's definitely not horror.

Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon by is an incredible novel, although it isn't really a full on horror novel. It's kind of a romance/mystery/gothic/horror hybrid. It does not feature werewolfs but its quite the modern classic if you haven't already read it. It follows the story of Daniel throughout his early life as he unravels the mystery of Julian Carax, an author who wrote the first book he had ever been engaged by.

Maybe the Night Watch series, the books are far better than the movies.

just finished Infected also. Very good and I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

You guys HAVE to check out Mark Van Name books. There are three and they rival the Ender's Game series. The new one, Overthrowing Heaven is kick ass. They remind me of a Sci Fi version of the Jack Reacher series. Jon Moore is a bad mf.
