was just thinking. my sister does -alot- of reading, and spends like $1000 a year on just books alone. most of them she reads once then never looks at again. is there any kind of like...video rental store for books? would make things alot cheaper, plus once one person has read one the next person can get enjoyment from it etc

I don't usually do this, but [/thread].

I don't know of any general book rental places, but libraries are even better than rental services would be, since they're free. There are a few places that rent out college textbooks, but I don't think that's what your looking for.

Umm.... Is this a serious thread? Or have you just never set foot in a library? Also note, Libraries are generally free.

It is called a library.

Get a card (which is free), and you can borrow books. You usually keep them for 28 days before they are due, but you can also renew, giving and additional 28 days. The best part is that this is all free. No money to pay. Unless your overdue.

Seriously, who doesn't know what a library is.

That was easy.

Yeah, the Kindle would be pretty cool too. Cheaper books, and a butt-load in one handy little device.

A bit like that guy on the WoW forums who binds his spells to alt+f4. Then complains on the forums when the game 'crashes.' Whoops.

So who else has found some absolutely stupid questions posted on the internet? Share them with us like i did in my OP.

That question is someone elses, word for word and i think they were serious.

My OP was just a clever way to get replies to this thread :)

Oh you are a droll troll...

I'm reminded of the Jessica Simpson Chicken of the Sea Tuna quote but beyond that I got nothing.
