Too little space to own a lot of books at the moment, but sometime in the future I WILL own a complete collection of Terry Pratchetts books. He is without a doubt the biggest literary genious of our time, and perhaps any time.

I have such a geekcrush on his brain.

Don't know, we give a lot of books away to the charity shop and yet all of our bookshelves remain full, I think the books are breeding with eachother.

Incidentaly what would happen if an Encyclopedia and a heat magazine had a baby together?

When my gf and I were talking last night, I was actually discussing donating some more books and DVDs to the local library...

I have a habit of wandering into used book stores and getting lost for an hour or two every couple of weeks during the summer. ><

I counted I own 1200 books mostly sci fi,fantasy and textbooks but loads of manga as well.

Lots of people are counting the books their family owns, and this is about how many you own yourself. I own about 120, discounting textbooks. Cause those aren't fun, and I'm going to sell them back anyway. W00t for cash!

I don't know exactly, but I've got 36 with me at uni. Had to be fairly selective when I came, as I wanted my hundreds of DVDs with me too.

My favorite is a 1915 copy of The Complete Works of Alfred Tennyson. My grandparents had an extensive library when they lived in Portugal and had to downsize when they came back to England, they gave this to me for christmas that year as I'd shown an interest in it

I suppose something between 5000 and 7000. I've had many years to collect and I've inherited a few large collections. Such is the way with history students. Life is all about books.

If light novels count, then a ton. Like a full book case just for those. If not, then it would be like 3. lol

This is not counting TPB comics or the books packed in boxes at my parents'.

7 Harry Potters, Dean Koontz's Frankenstein series, Dean Koontz's Life Expectancy, 2 FLCL books, AzuDai Omnibus, and 3 Jason Bourne books. So that adds up to 17.
