OK well I've seen the Borat movie and have come to the conclusion that it is not so great that people should be doing impressions of it a very long while after it has come out. It's an OK movie, the first half is very well done, but then they mess it up in the middle and continue to until the end of the movie which is a shame.

Saw it when it was new, found it funny.
Not great, but still gave me some good laughs.

its fun to speak in funny accents. Very funny movie. Part of it is nothing like that has been done before on that scale really.

Its sheer stupidity and absurdity makes it funny to watch, atleast for the first time. It takes dedication to enjoy watching it more than once though.

It was kind of funny, but the incessant quoting from everyone around me left a bad taste in my mouth

I laughed a lot when I saw the film but the endless quoting was not needed. And for that matter neither was the photos I've seen (on Facebook) of a couple of my friends in "mankinis" - yes it was fancy dress but it was not something I wanted to see. *pours hydrochloric acid into eyes*

Just the stupidity of it makes me laugh.
That is the genious of the movie. It's stupid, and we love it. It wasn't meant to have some complex plot that made you laugh, it was just senseless fun.

It's a great film, it was hilarious when it was released, due to its scale, it's vision, and Sasha Baron Cohen's willingness to do just about anything in front of a camera. people shouldn't still be quoting it though...I haven't heard anyone done it for a year or two..the people who are still quoting it (if they exist) need to move on.

Found it funny when I saw it in the cinema, however once I saw it again and the shock was gone it just wasn't that funny. Doesn't help that everyone kept quoting it, with very poor Borat impressions

I thought Borat was an excellent portrayal of the US's reaction to foreigners with different customs, which is what the film tried to portray.

Go on the New York subway and start introducing yourself to people, you'll find they'll react exactly the same as they did on the movie, even without trying to kiss them.

I've watched this movie 3 times now and it doesn't get old for me, but then again that's because I love the brilliance behind trying to portray an idiotic person. It's phenomenal. And no, I don't quote Borat.

I liked it, it was so stupid it was absolute genius. And considering half of it actually happened, that's impressive as well.
Actually the funniness is, everyone he met, were people who really thought he was making a documentary. THATS whats funny. <3

It's a piece of shit. Boring, unfunny, and generally shit. Oh, and a great deal of sick, too.

Oh, they still quote it. Mostly 'is very nice'.
