I was unconvinced on border lands when i first heard of it. I ignored it when first game out. and ignored it for a long time after wards, perhaps some what unjustly. I only played it cause i saw it in a rental store. i took it home and played the single player and I must say i wasn't impressed. the shooting was clunky and despite a "Bazillion guns" i found the same gun close to 15 times. But despite this i wanted to play more of it constantly. it was like the keyboard was soaked in nicotine. So i enjoyed the single player(after a while)and was looking forward to trying out co op. and i gotta say CO OP blew chunks out its hairy anus. I am sick of getting stuck with douche bags who kept on taking all the health and stealing all the kills. this might just be because i suck but personally i think Pandora was much more interesting when i got to travel at my own pace and in the direction i wanted to without worrying about my team mates dying and leaving me to fight 2 giant skags who where tougher than normal because it was CO OP. So i rage quit started single player and enjoyed it imensly. does anyone else feel the same way or am i alone on this

I've never done the on-line MP as I don't have LIVE. Local MP is a fucking hoot though.
But when I'm nit entertaining mates, it takes it's place in my gaming drawer of forgotten games. Looked through it yesterday, found a copy of Endwar. ...I don't remember buying that!

Also, did you try PC or something else? As my friend who is a PC gamer said exactly the same thing about the MP.

I would suggest playing with friends not just some randoms, As you found out it can be frustrating otherwise

But then again the single player ant too bad if you hate everyone lol

The only way I could enjoy borderlands was playing with friends.

The single player was in, my opinion somewhat dire. The best parts of single player Borderlands was for me when I was in the larger desert areas when nothing happened except maybe sometimes sniping a skag/cliff racer in the distance.

I've done it in co-op and Solo and I personally enjoyed it solo more :)
But then I've never been the biggest fan of multi-player gaming other than stuff like mario-kart.
