Well that's a given, I was more thinking on them wanting to try to get people to forget about A:CM and DNF. After all, it was considered one of last year's best AAA games.Zachary Amaranth said:I doubt it'll increase goodwill. It will, however, line their pockets.
I'm probably going to just get Krieg and Dragon's Keep if I start playing it again.FoolKiller said:This is why I, as a Xbox 360 gamer, am waiting for the ultimate fully complete game of the year edition to be released.
What puzzles me about that is that I didn't pre-order it (as far as I remember anyway) and I still got the Mechromancer. Consistency!I was already pissed when I didn't get the mechromancer for pre-ordering because I didn't pre-order it at the right place. They didn't announce that you had to preorder at certain places till it was too late.
Yeah, where is it, I would love experimental Hyperion weapons with both enhanced reverse recoil and maybe even multi-element effects.Elamdri said:Dear Gearbox: Where is the DLC to blow up the goddamn moonbase?!
actually, have people managed to make skill point drops like in the first game?unstabLized said:Sigh... Great. I don't think I'll need a level cap increase. Maybe I'll get the one that offers more content. I can already solo UVHM with my zer0 easily, I don't need much else. I do like raid bosses though, and Tiny Tina's DLC was awesome to me, hands down my favourite. Being on PC helps though, we can do some fun stuff, heh.

Or in my case, do it some more because I'm locked in an endless cycle of addiction that rivals chronic alcoholism.Alcom1 said:Get to level 50, spend hours farming for Legendary weapons to max out your Vault Hunter.
Level cap increase to 61 comes out with new DLC.
Get to level 61, do the same thing again because all your level 50 Legendary weapons are useless.
Level cap increase comes out with new DLC.
Get to level 72, give up.
You have a better idea?Upbeat Zombie said:Gearbox's solution for the game breaking ability combos seems to have been just make enemy's ridiculously tanky and strong to make up for it.
Remember, though, that people are pissed there's more content coming out because it's not part of the season pass. You can see it here, and to a slightly lesser extent you can see it on their own forum. And you can see it elsewhere, I'm sure. I just don't spend a lot of time looking for people pissing and moaning. Either come to me, or be ignored!Ninjamedic said:Well that's a given, I was more thinking on them wanting to try to get people to forget about A:CM and DNF. You should try Commando then. DISTRACTION SENTRY!momijirabbit said:Would care more if I could play UVHM without everything killing me in one hit.
Honestly I have a lvl 53 Siren with legendaries and I still can't kill anything, UVHM is impossible solo.
It's so people who find high-level enemies too difficult (casuals) will still be able to enjoy the DLCs. It makes sense.Ghonzor said:The fact that the levels themselves are their own DLC and not included in another DLC (like the Zombie Island of Dr. Ned) irks me to an insane degree.

Really? Awesome! My only issue with using slag weapons and switching was the limited time slag was in effect. Homing slag transfusion grenades were my usual goto as a result, when solo anyway.Denamic said:It's not.momijirabbit said:Would care more if I could play UVHM without everything killing me in one hit.

Already ran through the main story and all the DLC on UVHM solo as a Siren, and I'm doing it again with Krieg. Though I've only completed the Tiny Tina DLC so far with him. Try a Moxxi gun. They heal you with their elemental effect.
Honestly, it's a lot easier with Krieg so far. He's just so goddamned powerful.
Oh, and elemental strengths and weaknesses are for more pronounced than before. Like fire does much more damage on flesh, and much less damage to shields and armour than before, and slag lasts much longer, and triples damage rather than just doubles. You need to swap accordingly. Using anything but shock, unelemental, or explosive even on normal psycho shields is practically suicide.
fair enough, basically in the Moxxi DLC, you were rewarded a skill point dock for completing the arenas, this feature enabled many to mod it so that they can spawn endless skillpointsunstabLized said:I never played the first game, sooo I'm not sure what you meanIzanagi009 said:actually, have people managed to make skill point drops like in the first game?unstabLized said:Sigh...
