I'm gong to buy the game after they package all the dlc stuff with the game same as the first one
At this rate, you'll probably do that only to find out another batch is coming.

I doubt it'll increase goodwill. It will, however, line their pockets.
Well that's a given, I was more thinking on them wanting to try to get people to forget about A:CM and DNF. After all, it was considered one of last year's best AAA games.

This is why I, as a Xbox 360 gamer, am waiting for the ultimate fully complete game of the year edition to be released.
I'm probably going to just get Krieg and Dragon's Keep if I start playing it again.

I was already pissed when I didn't get the mechromancer for pre-ordering because I didn't pre-order it at the right place. They didn't announce that you had to preorder at certain places till it was too late.
What puzzles me about that is that I didn't pre-order it (as far as I remember anyway) and I still got the Mechromancer. Consistency!

Sigh... Great. I don't think I'll need a level cap increase. Maybe I'll get the one that offers more content. I can already solo UVHM with my zer0 easily, I don't need much else. I do like raid bosses though, and Tiny Tina's DLC was awesome to me, hands down my favourite. Being on PC helps though, we can do some fun stuff, heh.

I'll buy all of it. B2 just pushes all of my buttons as the perfect game. Fun solo, fun in groups, smart enough for when I want stimulation, mindless enough for when I just want to veg out. I paid full retail pre-order for the game, $30 for season pass and $10 for Krieg and I don't regret any of it. Thats $100 but so far I have ~250 hours in it and no sign of stopping. And thats barely touching TVHM and no stupid boss farming.

My one complaint is I that switching to an xinput gamepad sort of ruined my anarchy mechromancer build. When I had an ancient logitech mapped with their archaic keyboard mapper software I was able to separate the reload and activate/loot buttons. On my shiney new logitech F710 I both reload and loot are on the same button and can't be separated. That means if I'm one pixel off when I loot I reload and lose my anarchy stack.

But that said the game is great.

If there's going to be another season of content I hope they plan on another season pass to cover the new content.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So what you're saying is that I will finally be able to have turrets that have everything except the ability to be nukes with points to spare...

I can't tell if this is simply going to wreck the new balance of the game or break it even further, because as is I still can't find any worthwhile shields for UVH.

Also why couldn't you have announced the Moon Base, made insane amounts of death star references, and have just made the new level cap (among other things) part of that? Also just a suggestion that if you're going to call it Ultimate Vault Hunter Pack Two, include a True Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode to accompany it, and limit UVHM to 61, so people who don't want the enemies to move on can have that, because this is going to be an absolute slaughter for the unoptimized.

Otherwise... Level 72 Krieg is going to be interesting to see.

Dear Gearbox: Where is the DLC to blow up the goddamn moonbase?!
Yeah, where is it, I would love experimental Hyperion weapons with both enhanced reverse recoil and maybe even multi-element effects.

How about for a final battle, you fight clones of Angel that Jack made in an attempt to bring her back

Gearbox's solution for the game breaking ability combos seems to have been just make enemy's ridiculously tanky and strong to make up for it.

Get to level 50, spend hours farming for Legendary weapons to max out your Vault Hunter.

Level cap increase to 61 comes out with new DLC.

Get to level 61, do the same thing again because all your level 50 Legendary weapons are useless.

Level cap increase comes out with new DLC.

Get to level 72, give up.
Or in my case, do it some more because I'm locked in an endless cycle of addiction that rivals chronic alcoholism.

You have a better idea?

Besides, they outright say in the info window for UVHM that slag is now much more powerful. And it is.

Remember, though, that people are pissed there's more content coming out because it's not part of the season pass. You can see it here, and to a slightly lesser extent you can see it on their own forum. And you can see it elsewhere, I'm sure. I just don't spend a lot of time looking for people pissing and moaning. Either come to me, or be ignored!

It's a convenience thing.

Still, the offense is there. People complaining about the game being broken, about them milking the title, about them exploiting their fans, about it not being included in the Season Pass, about there not being enough space buffalo....>.>

This doesn't seem like it'll be gaining much in the way of good will, especially since angry fans are likely to dredge up the ACM deal...

EDIT: Just so we're on the same page (figuratively), I at least touch upon my own feelings in another post here:

Would care more if I could play UVHM without everything killing me in one hit.
Honestly I have a lvl 53 Siren with legendaries and I still can't kill anything, UVHM is impossible solo.

You should try Commando then. DISTRACTION SENTRY!

The Siren is a rough class to use solo. As far as i know, Maya is the only character that requires a team to function properly.

The fact that the levels themselves are their own DLC and not included in another DLC (like the Zombie Island of Dr. Ned) irks me to an insane degree.
It's so people who find high-level enemies too difficult (casuals) will still be able to enjoy the DLCs. It makes sense.

Overall, I feel level 72 was a little uncalled for, though. At least they won't make us play through the game again.

It's not.
Already ran through the main story and all the DLC on UVHM solo as a Siren, and I'm doing it again with Krieg. Though I've only completed the Tiny Tina DLC so far with him. Try a Moxxi gun. They heal you with their elemental effect.

Honestly, it's a lot easier with Krieg so far. He's just so goddamned powerful.

Oh, and elemental strengths and weaknesses are for more pronounced than before. Like fire does much more damage on flesh, and much less damage to shields and armour than before, and slag lasts much longer, and triples damage rather than just doubles. You need to swap accordingly. Using anything but shock, unelemental, or explosive even on normal psycho shields is practically suicide.

Really? Awesome! My only issue with using slag weapons and switching was the limited time slag was in effect. Homing slag transfusion grenades were my usual goto as a result, when solo anyway.

Oh my god, this is amazing. It's as if my level 61 gunzerker who never stops gunzerking wasn't broken enough, now they want me to be able to instantly regen to full health on command as well? Goddamn it Gearbox, when will you let me get to the other games in my backlog?!

I'm sad that the increased level cap is it's own DLC though, feels like it should either be free, or packaged with something.

fair enough, basically in the Moxxi DLC, you were rewarded a skill point dock for completing the arenas, this feature enabled many to mod it so that they can spawn endless skillpoints

it was broken so they probably made it impossible to do so

But back to the main point, a level increase to 72 will make it broken and frustrating as hell
