Borderlands and its glitches

Borderlands is a good game and my only let down is the glitches not the ones that help you i mean when the ones that render you immobile or unable to finish a quest.

i want to know about your experiences with the glitches of borderlands

glitches??? Im on my 2nd playthough single player and have reached level 27 with a friend on co-op and the only problem we had was my friend couldnt get his 4th weapon slot. I had some weapons from my single player (who was past the quest to get 4th weapon slot) i wanted to give him, so I loaded that character up and swapped weapons and screwed up his players quests. So he missed out on the 4 weapon slots >.<

Oh and I get some graphics problems with the watter, it doesnt always work properly, which is easily fixed by changing my res, then back again.

Oh and the bricks charging feat doesnt seem to do anything... Im not sure if im just missing something, but I have nfi what it does :|....because my character doesnt do what the description says...

One glitch for the hunter (Mordecai) that I think was fixed in one of the patches, is that once you have your bird skill, you can just stare straight down and repeatedly fling out birds just by tapping the button very fast, giving you an infinite amount of winged bastards. This was on PC, I don't know if it works for systems, but it's pretty damn sweet when you just throw a bunch of birds at the ground then watch them tear 30 bandits to pieces.

I did get my car stuck in a pole through what would be the driver's seat window and couldn't remove it. Also for some reason, flicking a car with a knife can launch then a meter or two up from the ground.

My copy seems to have an issue with sound/music skipping occasionally. It's not unlike the problems you'd run into if you tried to play a scratched up PSOne game.

It's annoying, but it's never stopped me from enjoying the game, so I guess I should be thankful. Still, the voice acting is one of my favorites parts of this game, and it annoys me when I don't get to hear the complete line.

Well I just encountered a really minor glitch. A washing machine spawned inside a hunk of metal, and I was therefore incapable of opening it.

After beating that game, I am starting to think it might just be one giant glitch that somehow detached itself from another project the studio was working on and was deemed worth of being an independent venture.

I started a thread about this ages ago. My main gripe was the microphone glitches (as they've the only ones I've encountered). On ps3, the microphone is fucking atrocious and I wish they would fix it, because It would be a great party game, if you could talk to each other effectively.

The only glitch I ever had was when the enemies in an arena didn't spawn in. Easily fixed with a rocket to my feet.

I've also ran into one glitch that i got stuck at and lost a few quests progress.

I've never actually experienced any glitched while playing. I've heard of a few but never had one.

EDIT: Remembered just after posting I got that glitch that stopped me from being able to get the 'kill 20 enemies with acid weapons' achievement.

The only real issue I had was with the car's unfailing ability to get stuck in the smallest pieces of geometry.

I keep seeing people complaining about the cars, but me and my friend never had any issues at all with them. Aside from the hilarious physics that make you fly in the air and spin wildly for no apprent reason.

The only glitch I've seen was when I was taking out Baron Flynt in a four player game. I think there was something up with the connections, enemies and allies kept going invisible and then reappearing sideways or upside down. Fucking hilarious.

Only found one small glitch, when searching for the Sniper Rifle parts the waypoint didn't update after i found part 3.
Wasn't a problem though, just had to actually have a look around.

The part quests never update to let you find specific pieces, they just tell you the general area where all the parts are found.
EDIT: Whoops, just realized somebody already said that. Never mind.

You serious? I'm surprised, since I constantly encounter car glitches. It gets stuck everywhere. Once I drove it on top of a small rock, and it somehow managed to get stuck on that. It looked like a scene out of a cartoon.

Actually, now I think about it, there were times it got stuck on things. I think the memories of that were eclipsed by what happens when you get out and hit it. They generally flip out and go into orbit. Seriously, I've never encountered a glitch on this game that wasn't completely awesome and fucking hilarious.

Does nobody else have my problem with the sniper rifle proficiency? It doesn't give a tooltip when moused over. None of my friends get it either so it's not just me, I'm surprised nobody's mentioned it (or maybe I've just missed it).

Oh yeah, and recordings just randomly stopping. That's annoying.

I haven't been able to unlock about 5 achivements from the glitches.

I have a class upgrade that increases my magazine size, and a class mod that does the same. So whenever I put away a weapon, even a fully loaded one, the clip is about half full when I equip it again, forcing me to reload. I'm a compulsive reloader though, so it doesn't really bother me.
