OK check it, if you ever played Diablo II you are familiar with some of the popular character builds, like Hammerdins and Whirlwind Barbs. Since Borderlands is essentially the Diablo II RPG framework applied to an FPS, let's break down what skill builds we like using. Aaaaaannnnnnnddddd.... GO!

Mod: Commando Class, blue, 45% shotgun rate, +2 scattershot, +2 quick charge, +4 shotgun ammo regen
Strategy: If it runs, burn it with the hellfire. If it charges, destroy it with the blasthammer. If it puts up a fight, punish it with the brute. And if it cries, off it with the masher. The shotguns never ever run out of ammo and hardly ever run into anything they can't handle. The smg is capable against shielded targets and amazing against bare skin. I use corrosive contact grenades for assault and transfusion grenades during skirmishes. This isn't the most powerful build but it sure is a lot of fun!
