So what do those of us that purchased Borderlands and all of its DLC packs separately get, huh Gearbox?

In other words, what do we, the people who actually gave you MORE money, get?

No thanks, I already have Borderlands and one of the DLC packs. I think I can wait for a demo of Duke Nukem Forever to come out to everybody.

I mean, really, an early demo for a 10+ year old game that we all know will never live up to the hype isn't really all that great for motivation.

Well I never bought Borderlands, and was planning to. So I guess this is even more incentive for me to buy it. As for all you bought every dlc I feel your pain. Well not really because I haven't bought the game yet but you know what I mean.

Here's what those of us who already bought the game and all the DLC got: We got to play the game for almost a whole year before this GOTY edition was released. We got to play all of the DLC as soon as it came out. Stop your pissant whining, for god's sake. Our loyalty was already rewarded in that we've owned the game and its DLC long before first-time buyers of the GOTY edition.

Excuse me? I bought everything for a few dollars more than those who will buy the GOTY edition. Those few extra dollars were the ticket for playing "a year before this GOTY edition". I mean it's not like Gearbox said : "Ok everyone who bought Borderlands gets to play the game when the GOTY edition is released" It is not a reward it is their god damn duty, because I paid for the game. Now those who buy the GOTY will get more for less money. They get the whole DLC package for the price I paid for Borderlands. It's not a reward for my "loyality" towards Gearbox that I got to play the game, it's because I bought it.

Huh. This works strangely in my favor...sort of.
After seeing "10 dollars for a storage cabinet, DLC" back in February I decided against buying the DLC. My Borderlands disc is missing, so once the price goes down, I might pick it up again.

Having bought the DLC already, and being a big Duke fan, I am torn.

I think the only thing that would swing me towards the GOTY edition is if Duke became a fifth playable class in the game. think about it.

it would be AWESOME!
