For those who are interested, the embargo on skill tree information for Gearbox's upcoming game Borderlands has been lifted. The only skill tree that has been fully released so far is Mordecai's (the Hunter), which can be found here. A bit more info on each of the characters can also be found here.

What does everyone think? Personally i'm constantly impressed by this game. I like how the skills are focused around passive buffs, which leaves more focus on shooty fun. I can't wait to play Mordecai and go staright down the Gunslinger tree.

Update
All the skills for all classes can be found here.

Screw Brick, gunslinger Mordecai's where it's at.

Gun Crazy- When using pistols you have a chance to fire 2 shots with each pull of the trigger instead of just 1. (First level: 8% chance to fire 2 shots.)

Relentless- Killing an enemy increases your fire rate and gives every bullet fired a 25% chance to be a Killer Shot and deal additional damage. This effect lasts a few seconds. (First level: Fire Rate: +8%, Killer Shot damage: +20%)

Riotous Remedy- Killing an enemy gives you chaotic health regeneration for a few seconds. (First level: You can be healed for up to 3% of your maximum Health over 7 seconds).

Killer- Killing an enemy increases your Damage and Reload Speed with all guns for a few seconds. (First level: +8%. Reload Speed +6%)

Pistols that fire 2 shots per trigger pull are not for cowards.

Also, look at this. Look at what Brick's shotgun's firing in that tunnel right at the start.

That's awesome.

I am just looking forward to Fallout 3 with thousands of guns, and vehicles ;)
It bears more of a resemblance to Mad Max than Fallout 3, if you ask me.
But then again, Fallout basically took it's notes from Mad Max, so it's essentially saying the same thing ;)
(Despite the fact that MM is a movie, and Fallout is a game.)

OT: Definitely buying this. I cannot wait.

This game looks really good. I'm going to wait until the end of October and buy either this or brutal legend. Depending on which gets better reviews.
Anyway, as much as I hate to say it, I'm probably going to go with the heavy weapons toting thickie first and eventually play all the classes later.

I'm actually looking foward to this game more than Bioshock 2, it looks very unique and will surely be hours of fun with many locales to explore. I'm wondering whether or not you will be able to change the appearance of the four characters or if you have to stick with the default costumes. I'm glad they threw out the gun-metal grey look, way to go Borderlands.

You have to stick with the basic costumes, but you can customise the colours. It's not much, but it will help differentiate if there's multiple people playing one class. You can also rename your character.

I'd LOVE the soldier, I love being the support class, I'd get healing bulets first then just go crazy with the turrets.
