Several weeks ago, one of my friends showed me Borderlands, and upcoming FPS RPG game from developer Gearbox. I was skeptical at first, but he talked me into it with the expansive world, Co-op and unbelievable amount of weapons. I've seen a couple of gameplay videos and the trailer and I think the game looks great.
I've heard it will have the expansive world like Fallout 3, which will be good because I need a game that will last me a while and that will still offer new things to do. I especially like how the guns are almost mixed and matched (my personal favorite : The scoped semi-auto assault rifle[like an M14 w/acog] that reloads like a revovler) and that there will always be new things to do and see w/ or w/out your friends.
Another interesting thing is that you can upgrade and change your players so two people can play as the same character but can be utterly different in strengths and weaknesses.
So, your reward for getting this far is this question, are you getting Borderlands, and if so, what games would you pick Borderlands over (like, would you rather get ODST, MW2 or Borderlands, splinter cell: conviction, Assasins Creed:2, just to name a few).
P.S. Why do the characters in the game have such odd names. My friend who told me about it was getting all pissed 'cause he's got a real thick british accent(like the Queen's English) and can't pronounce some of the names. LOL, He really stands out in LA.
